Dorm Room Recipe: Rice Cooker Pasta

Did you know you could make pasta in a rice cooker? Rachael tells us how!

Rice Cooker Pasta

Ingredients

  • 1 cup, quinoa pasta
  • 1 Tbsp., olive oil
  • 1 tsp., crushed garlic
  • salt & pepper, to taste

Directions

Follow instructions for cooking pasta according to your rice cooker (I just used the instructions for brown rice and substituted pasta – but do what seems best for you). Dump drained pasta into a medium bowl. Add olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper and stir to combine. If wanted, you could steam some fresh or frozen vegetables in your rice cooker’s steam rack while the pasta is cooking, as a side dish.
